Chairman’s forward.

Dear Reader,

Once again I am honored to ‘Chair’ this club on its journey to achieve a brighter and better future.

As a club we must all look to move forward from the ‘highs and lows’ of the previous season, with the knowledge that the ‘hopes and dreams’ of the club rest on the creation of an effective junior section.

This will not be an easy task; however, I believe that with the help of your committee and the determination of yourselves, then we will succeed. Already preparations are in place and it is my commitment to you that we will have junior cricket by the end of the season.

In order for the club to progress in a positive direction, then I hope that every player will grasp the opportunity to express their talents, as it is my belief that each player should look to play to the best of their ability and for the over all good of the club.

I have emphasized that junior cricket is the future of this club, yet, let us not forget that this club is deeply indebted to the strong background support of both friends and family. I hope that past loyalty and dedication will continue and that those people will join us in celebrating the re-birth of Boxted Cricket Club.

In conclusion I would like to wish you all the very best for the season, and thank you for all the hard work I know that you will give. This will be a difficult season, yet, one in which if we all stand united together then we will succeed and will remember as where our future began.
